"Black Identity Exposition" in Rio de Janeiro – Photo gallery 2

The “Exposição Negra Identidade (Black Identity Exposition)” was put on by O Movimento Cultural Mulheres de Zé (The Women of Zé Cultural Movement) in Rio de Janeiro on March 25th. The event celebrated the visibility of black faces and the achievements of black culture in Brazilian History and featured a round table discussion about black women in Brazilian society.

The exposition featured the photography of Cacau Rodrigues and featured Patrícia Costa, Aime Andrade, Marcelo Negrão, Raphaela Nascimento, Agabelli Oliveira, Nayra Cezari and Selminha Sorriso, who also posed for Rodrigues. See more about the event here and more photos here.
