Actress suffered a stroke
After suffering a stroke on Monday (January 23), Neusa Borges is recovering in Barra D’Or Hospital in the Barra da Tijuca area of the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Ondina, Neusa’s daughter said that her mother is once again showing signs of strength.
“She had a severe headache followed by vomiting, but she was treated and thank God she is lucid. She even complained that she is hungry, because she has an IV, but she’ll will remain under observation longer. Doctors gave no long-term prognosis, but my mother is strong and I believe she’ll get out of here soon,” said Ondina.
Lycian Manzo, author of A Vida da Gente, the Globo network novela that Neusa is currently featured in, has not yet determined changes to the character.
